Benson's Joke

Benson thinks he is very funny. I'm not sure where he gets it from. Here is a video of his favorite joke.

Swim Lessons

Reagan has been taking swim lessons the past 2 weeks. He has loved it. His instructor has longer hair. Reagan couldn't figure out why his instructor would have long hair. The second day he had his hair pulled back in a pony tail. After the second lesson Reagan came home and asked Abe "Why does my teacher have girl hair? I just don't get it!" Every morning in the car Reagan would try to guess what his teacher would look like that morning. Even though his teacher may have looked like a girl Reagan still passed off all the skills to move on to level two.

Mason's first fish

Ben took Ian and Mason up to Cascade to try and catch some fish. They had an eventful sleepover in the wind and lightening storm and were a little spooked but they were excited when they each caught a catfish. Of course they wanted to bring them home so their family could see them so they brought them home uncleaned so they looked as big as possible. They ate gobs of cheetos and even more candy which made for a very fun grandpa/grandson getaway.

Family Fun

Max and Norah got aquainted and became good friends and shared all thier toys and colds.

We went to Pojo's and had a lot of fun.

Lauren did get a bit upset when she didn't win a prize.

But other times she was really happy.

The cousins had fun together and most of the time didn't fight too much!

We had lots of walks so Jonah could play at the park.

Lauren and Jonah escaped together and had a bath. We aren't sure which one of them came up with that good idea.

We gathered together to watch the triathalon.

Norah was very happy to come to Boise and meet her family!

We had a lot of fun!

My Projects

I got a sewing machine for my Birthday and have been have been busy making things ever since.

I started out making a pillow case for Reagan so I could figure out the machine. I let him choose the material.

Then I made a blanket for our baby.
After making the first blanket I decided to try a basic quilt.

My latest project was this car seat cover.
Here is a different angle of it.The cover is reversible. This is what the other side looks like.

Time Out

This has been one of the most occupied spots in our house lately. It may just look like a front door to you but it is also our families time out spot. In case you were wondering Benson is in time out in these photos and yes this is what he normally looks like while he sits in time out. He usually cries for about 15 seconds and then he is as happy as can be. Reagan on the other hand screams the entire time he sit here. I think the boys may be having a competition to see who can spend the most time in this spot. I think it may be a tie. When the boys come out of time out I tell them that they then have to take care of it. It doesn't matter who was the one sent to time out Benson will immediately run to everyone in the room hug them and tell them sorry.

First tooth in - First tooth out

This is Claire after the tooth fairy brough her a dollar and a bracelete.

I tugged and I tugged

But no tooth came out.

After Ashleigh got it almost entirely out, I came in for one more try...

...and I took the glory!

It was very adorable how Claire raced to show Max here missing tooth.

Ironman - Bike

Never a good sign when there's an ambulance. But John persevered...

Had I known John had gotten a fancy helmet, I might have gotten even more pictures of him.

I was a little concerned I'd missed Dallen because a couple of on not so healthy looking people were ahead of him. But in Michael Jacksonesk fashion (think Pepsi commercial), Dallen gave us a thumbs up to let us know that he was still going strong.
