It's Official (almost)

Our old house had the inspection yesterday as well as the appraisal. We knew the appraisal wouldn't be a problem but Ben was a little worried about the inspection because sometimes he has a tendency to build things that are not exactly up to code. I told him the only other thing that could stop the house from selling would be if he met with the potential buyer and told them all the things that might possibly be wrong with the house. He was over a few days ago and their realtor was there and she mentioned that the buyers would like to talk with us about a few things. He did just would he knew he had better. He said, "I can't I have to get somewhere". He did too, he had to go home and eat dinner and he knew somebody would be very unhappy if he blew it for us.

Too make a long story short, everything has gone well and the house should close around the 4th of August. Hurrah for us!

If anybody wants some good stuff I am having a yard sell on Saturday. Also, if you do not claim your old stuff I just might sell it too!

Open House in Twin Falls

Yesterday some friends and I drove down to Twin Falls and went through the open house for the Twin Falls temple. We didn't manage to get to go through the VIP tour like Cory did. He got cheese fondue, chocolate dipped strawberries and a free music CD. We did however, get a cookie and a glass of ice water. The temple was very pretty. They had large murals throughout one of the rooms that were down to illustrate the local area, the Hagerman valley and the Shoeshown Falls. Very pretty.

Swim lessons

Reagan has had a lot of fun in swim lessons. He loves the water. He has finished one week and has 3 more weeks to go.

Here is Reagan reaching for balls.

Reagan swimming with the surf board.

Wii

Reagan has decided that he is now old enough to play the Wii. There is only a few problems with this. One he isn't any good. Two he is a wii hog and wont let anyone else play. Luckily I out smarted him. We got Wii Fit last week. I figured out that if I take out my step box Reagan thinks he is playing with me. He thinks it is pretty cool because his box is a little bigger than mine. Check out Reagan great baseball skills.

So you think you can dance?

Reagan has started dancing a lot lately. I had jury duty last Monday so I had a friend watch Reagan. When I came to pick him up she told me that she had turned the radio on while she was cleaning her kitchen. Reagan came running in and started dancing all over the place. He usually spins around and then does the raise the roof thing. He is quite good. I tried to get some video of him dancing. Which is difficult because he stops dancing when I start taping. I hope you enjoy the video and don't get too sick.

Water slide

Here is some photos of Reagan enjoying his new toy.

Wet Day

Yesterday was an excellent day for Reagan. When he woke up he was able to play with both his mom and his dad. He then was able to go for a walk. When he got back from the walk the sprinklers were on so he was able to play in them. A couple hours later he got to go to swimming lessons. He loved it. He was one of the few kids that didn't cry at all. He fell asleep on the way home. Abram and I had bought this water slide off Craig's List . We met the lady we bought it from immediately after swim lessons. Reagan slept the whole time and when he got home he slept for a couple more hours. When he woke up we had him look out the window and he was so excited to see he had a slide. He then had the opportunity to get wet for the third time in one day. Lets just say Reagan was one happy boy.

Dogs

You may already know this but Reagan loves dogs. Whenever we go for a walk Reagan gets excited when he sees a dog and points. Today on our walk Reagan decided to start talking back to the dogs. Whenever he saw a dog he started saying "Raw, Raw Raw." We saw at least 15 dogs and he did that every time. Reagan thought he was pretty cute. Each time he barked at the dog he looked back at me with his huge cheesy smile.

He also decided that he likes bugs today. I open the door to the garage this morning before we left for the walk. I remembered that he would probably want a snack so I ran back in to get a some cheerios. He followed me back in a few moments later and wanted to show me something. I didn't pay much attention. He then started saying " boog! boog!" So I followed to see what he was talking about. He brought me to see a smashed spider. He bent down, started pointing at it and then said "boog!" He then did the same thing a few more times as he had to show me all the crickets that were also in our garage. He was quite excited to see that we had so many bugs in the garage. I on the other hand am not to excited to know that we have so many bugs. At least I will soon have someone to kill spiders for me when Abe's at work. I don't mind killing the small or medium sized spiders. The spiders the size of my hand still scare me.

Lagoon Trip

Here are some pictures from out trip to Lagoon. If we were as smart as April and Abe, we would do a little slide show. But we aren't, so we'll just take up a whole bunch of space instead. Ian and Mason (and all the rest of us -- except Blake) had the time of our lives. Ian rode on everything that he could, including Collosus twice and the new big one -- Wicked -- four times. Wicked is the one where Mason is in front of the car that is just about to head straight down, and it is also the one where the the car is upside down . . . that is Ian and Jill in the front seat. Ian was absolutely fearless. Mason, on the other hand, got ruined by terrible parents that made him do the scariest ride -- Wicked -- first. But, we went back to Lagoon for a second day and Mason got his courage up again and rode Collosus and the big white roller coaster. Blake did not like any of the rides, especially when his terrible parents made him go down the log ride and get wet about 6 times.

Jill's favorite ride was the Rattlesnake Rapids, especially when my hat fell off into the water (see the picture below) and John had to ignore the cardinal rule of roller coastering to keep your hands inside the ride at all times.

The animal pictures are of us at the Salt Lake City Zoo.

San Antonio

We are home from our vacations now. We had one vacation after another. After spending a few weeks in Boise we went to San Antonio and spent a few days there. Abe had a conference there. He had classes from 7- 3. After that we were able to spend the rest of the day exploring San Antonio. Our Hotel was in the perfect location. It was connected to the Rivercenter Mall. The river ran between the hotel and the mall. It was a great view from the window. We were in walking distance from the Riverwalk, The Mall, The Alamo and the Tower of the Americas. There was also a village of 100 year old Spanish houses that are now shops. Here is a video of some of the pictures that we took while in San Antonio. The Riverwalk was a lot cooler than we had expected. We were told that it is one of the safest places in San Antonio. There is no graffiti anywhere. There are always patrols and people around so people can't do anything to vandalize it.
