Today is the day

We went for another test of Marie's fluid levels today and she failed, so she is going to be induced. More details (and video) to come.

Here is a video of Reagan playing with his new favorite toy, a balloon. For the last week it has been difficult to take the balloon away from him. He even took a nap with the balloon. The first thing Reagan wants when he wakes up is his balloon.

I just bought tickets to go to Chicago. Hopefully, Dallen, Marie & baby Jonah won't get sick of us before we go home. If they do we will just have to go see Oprah!!

Bathroom Progress

As of today we have two bathrooms almost done. We actually even have working toilets now. Ian came earlier last week and he got pretty concerned when none of our bathrooms had toilets. When you got to go real bad it is not the time to find out that none of grandma & grandpa's bathrooms have toilets. Oh, by the way --- We sort of bought another house this week (o:

Ready for baby

Hair Style

It is always hard to decide what new hair style you want. You may be at the grocery store or somewhere else and you see the perfect hair style. You want to take a picture because that would be the only way you could describe the style to the stylist. You know you can't take a picture because that would be seen as a little weird. So you have to do without and just wish you had that hair style. Have any of you girls had this experience? I know mom has she has told me about it before. Well this morning I had this experience. I decided to take a picture though. I figured I could because it was Reagan with the hair style similar to what I would like to have. So I decided to take a picture. I chased him around the house with the camera trying to take a picture of the hair style Reagan happened to wake up with. I knew that mom would like to have a picture of the hair style she could get. I took about 20 pictures trying to get a picture that would show the hair the way I could see it. I couldn't get any to work. I finally realized why. The hairstyle wouldn't show up in the photo because Reagan was sitting in front of the cabinets. His hair is the same color as the kitchen cabinets. So the hair didn't show up too well. As soon as I realized this I laughed and laughed at Reagan. He was not very amused by it. I posted a few pictures so you can all see the hairstyle and Reagan's unamused face.

Ian had his first wrestling match this weekend. It was a "fun" match in which they didn't keep score and they just let each kid wrestle a couple other kids about the same size. Ian did awesome in his first match. For the first two rounds he just took the kid down, pinned him, let him up, took him down, and pinned him probably about 8 times. When the third round was about to start, I told Ian to let the other kid take him down. So Ian let the kid take him down, and then Ian got up, and proceeded to take the other kid down and pin him 3 or 4 more times. Ian spent the next 20 minutes running around, flexing, and telling everybody how good he did.

For his second match, Ian wrestled a kid that was way littler than Ian, but the kid was really agressive. He kicked Ian's butt, and made Ian cry within the first minute, at which point I threw in the towel. Ian was dissapointed, but got over it pretty quick. All in all, I'd say it was a success.

Maternity Leave!

As of last friday I am officially on maternity leave! Well actually I'm quitting but they don't know that yet-I just took the leave so I can get my sick days... Now baby Jonah can come anytime he wants (the sooner the better :) Just not tonight because Dallen was called into work. There's about 3 weeks 'till my due date...hmmm...I'm bored!

A carrot top that can barely walk and a sippy cup of milk. Reagan was singing along loud to the radio the other day when this song came on. We didn't realize until this evening that Reagan had his own meaning to carrot top

Man We Got A Ton Of Snow!!!!!

SNOW DAY

After about thirteen years of wishing for a snow day everytime there were a few flakes of snow I finally got my wish. I got woke up at 4:45 informing me of the district decision. That wouldn't have been so bad but I had to hunt the house down to find a phone. Sadly, my snow day took place on the same day we had scheduled to have the flooring laid in the bathrooms. To make matters worse the installer brought his 2nd grade son because he also had a snow day. I think work would have been more enjoyable. He was a loud annoying kid who followed me wherever I went. The only thing worse than that was when he practiced the poem "The three billygoat gruff" which he told us was his homework. On the good side, I got most of baby Jonah's quilt done. I thought of him the whole time, we can hardly wait. I'll have to be more careful where I leave the phone.

We went up to Idaho City, planning to sled at Steamboat Gulch. But there was so much snow that it was closed. They had at least 3 feet of snow everywhere. We finally just had to take a back road, pull over to the side, and climb up a hill. It took me about 5 minutes just to climb up the first time because the snow was up to my waist. The boys had fun, and only cried a few times. Mason cried when the wind got knocked out of him after getting a few feet of air, and Ian cried when he crashed face first into a snow bank. Blake cried a lot becuase it was tooooo cold.

Blake Finally Figures It Out
