Summer Fun

This is Abram's last week of school. Then we will be going to Boise for a couple weeks. We are getting excited for our vacation. Last night Abe mentioned that we would be going in 5 days. I then stated that I am getting excited. Then Reagan says "I excited too!"

Reagan and I have been trying to find fun thing to do to pass the time. A friend told me she was going to the spray park today and invited us to go too. I have been wanting to try it out since last summer so we decided to go. When we pulled up the place was packed. The parking lot was full and there was a few classes there on field trips. I don't normally like taking Reagan to the park when there are tons of big children there. They have a tendency not to notice little children like Reagan and run them over.

Since we had driven all the way to the park I decided I should at least let Reagan get out and play for a little bit. I knew if I didn't Reagan would scream the whole way home. Luckily the students left about 30 minutes after we got there. If I had known they weren't going to be there that long I would have had Reagan play on the playground first and then play in the spray part after they left. I think the big kids scared him a little. He tried to push his way onto the spray guns and the big children didn't even notice him. So he had to play away from the bigger children.

Reagan was excited and surprised when he got to swing on the swings. I think he may have been told a few too many times that the swing are too how to swing on. He doesn't usually even bother asking me to push him any more. He just comes up to me and says "swings burn bum." I decided to be nice today and told him the swings weren't too hot and I pushed him.

The Merry-go-round was the popular thing at the park. Reagan ran around it till one of the seats finally opened off. He took a very long turn once he got on. He was smart enough to know if he got off he would never get another turn. When the boy behind him in this picture got off Reagan hurried and switched seats so he could ride the horse. He thought the horse was pretty cool. He continued to say "giddy up horsey" for the rest of his ride.

  1. Reagan I am excited too! When you come I will take you to the park and you can ride a little horse and go down the big slides. If Mason and Ian go with us they can teach you how to roll down the hill. I am still planning on making cookies and sharing with you. Hopefully we can time going to the zoo so that Jonah can go with us. YEAH!!!!
