Tonight I changed Reagan and then left the room expecting Reagan to follow. Abram was still at his meetings and I wanted to wait for him to get home before putting Reagan to bed. I turned around and realized Reagan wasn't following me. He had stayed in the room and walked over to his bed. I grabbed the camera to see if he was going to put himself to bed. Watch the video to see what he does.
I turned the lights off after taking this video and left the room. Reagan stayed in bed for a few minutes but then I heard some jumping and someone calling for his mom. I went back in there and we said our prayers and he gave me a good night kiss then he was ready for bed. I put him back in and he was good for the rest of the night. So Reagan almost put himself to bed.

That was the best laugh I had all day long. I was pretty worried that Reagan was going to get stuck when he got right on top of the rail bar. Now you have to remember, when you can crawl into bed you can also crawl out of your bed.
ReplyDeleteYup, that made me laugh pretty good too! I'm also very jealous that you have a little boy who wants to go bed and stays there all night...sigh...still waiting for Jonah to sleep through the night...
ReplyDeleteReagan has only figured out one way to get out of bed. He screams for his mommy. He crawls in bed several times during the day and wants me to give him toys to play with. He hasn't tried getting himself out yet. We have a toddler bed that we probably need to set up so that he doesn't break the crib.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that some day Jonah will sleep through the night.
Dallen didn't sleep through the night until he was three. By then April wasn't sleeping through the night. By the time she started Cory started crying during the night. Finally, now I sleep all through the night. It is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMason never learned how to climb into a crib, he only ever learned how to climb out of one -- right onto his head. We usually think it didn't cause any brain damage.
