My race went pretty well, but it wasn't nearly as impressive as Ian's. I was extremely happy with my swim yesterday, happy with my bike ride this morning, and not quite as happy with my run. The website described the run as a "mostly flat course," which was a big, fat lie. I don't know what part of the whole first mile being uphill makes it a "mostly flat course"? I need more work on hills. My final time was 1:12.02, but I'll have to wait until Monday to see the splits.
Mason also had a great day. His soccer team won its first game 5-2, and Mason scored 4 goals.
Jill's day wan't quite as enjoyable. She had to take Blake to Grandma Suzie's house, then take Mason to his soccer game, then take Ian to his race, then get to my race in time to see the finish. Unfortunately, they don't give out medals for being an awesome mom, but they should.
Wow, Ian that is amazing! I think you should blow up that picture and hang it in your bronco room. Mason, you had a great game, I will come and see one very soon.
ReplyDeleteSounds like your family had a great day. I went to the plant sale at Fred Meyer where they did a very poor job of planting them and then on the way home they all fell over in the back of the truck.
Wow! I'm very impressed Ian. I love that first picture Ian looks so happy. I also think it is great that you see little Ian running with all those big people.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Ian! I'm impressed! Jill, you are an awesome mom...maybe I can borrow some of your awesomeness...currently have no energy to do anything but try to convince Jonah to read books on the couch and watch "Cars".
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Ian and Mason. I would say congratulations to John, but it is kinda wimpy to whine about a little hill.
