Pinewood Derby

So my first attempt at a pinewood derby as a "Dad" was a success. Charlie's mom asked me to help him with his car. He designed the shape of the car, sanded the car for 2 weeks and painted it all by himself. All I did was cut the wood, drill the holes and fill them with weight, and put the wheels on it. He won every single race in a dominating fashion!! The picture was taken before but his smile got even bigger as the night went on!!! I'm glad his mom asked me to help.

    Good practce. You will need all the tricks you can get becasue those little boys of yours are going to want to win!!!!

    Good job. I picked up some good tricks at the pinewood derby this year. Both Ian and Mason will get to participate next year, and we have high hopes of doing well.
