Change in Plans
It started snowing last night as we were putting the boys down for bed. The snow was only on the road at that time but Reagan was still excited. At 5:00 this morning we got a call from the school district informing us that school had been canceled due to the snow. As you can tell by the pictures we had quite a bit of snow. We may need to buy a snow blower like Dallen. Actually it just doesn't take much snow to cause a snow day in Texas.
My first doctor appointment was scheduled for today so we were worried that they would cancel and we would have to wait another 3 weeks to get in. We did receive a call right when the office open but they were just calling everyone so the would know who would be in that day. About an hour later we got another call from the office and they wanted to know if we would be able to come in now so that they wouldn't have to wait around all day for me to go in. Most of the other appointments canceled. I made sure that my friend that was planing on watching the boys was available right then and we left. The roads were a lot worse then we had figured. We decided that it wasn't worth going a few extra miles to drop the boys off and we just took the boys with us. We assumed that the Doctor wouldn't want the boys back there so Abe just planned on waiting in the waiting room with them. The doctor said that there was no problem with the boys coming back. The doctor went into her candy stash and got candy out for the boys then they all got to listen to the baby's heart beat. Reagan was so excited to hear his baby. Then the doctor got out the ultrasound machine and said she would go ahead and do an ultrasound if we wanted because she was appreciative that we were willing to come in early with no notice. It was fun to be able to see the baby. Reagan was really excited about that. Then the doctor printed off some pictures. She gave Reagan his very own picture of the baby first then she gave us the rest of the pictures.

That is the wimpiest snow day I have ever seen in my life. If you want to hear about real snow ask Dallen!
