Ian and Mason just had their last soccer games of the season. Mason scored 6 goals (which is about average for the season), and Ian scored 2 goals (he had only scored one goal this season up through this point). The boys are bummed that soccer is over, but Mom and Dad are glad to get their Tuesday and Thursday evenings back.
Ian's team (of which I am the assistant coach) won all of its games this year, except for one, and that is only because the coaches put our two crappiest players in as the defenders in one quarter, and the other team scored all of its goals that quarter. We learned that week that we have to always have at least one good defender.
The last few days Reagan has been asking to play soccer. When we tell him to get his soccer ball he wont. He says I play soccer like Ian when I grow up. When I am a big kid.
